Lindsay Hill, a biomedical Master’s student, has been awarded a Diversity Fellowship by Saint Louis University. Diversity Fellowships are awarded to newly accepted Master’s or Doctoral level students who demonstrate outstanding scholastic achievement and potential for success in graduate studies at SLU.
In conjunction with the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) mentoring program, Aviation Science students and faculty liaison, Bill Irwin, traveled to Chicago to tour the United Airlines Network Operations Center (NOC) and Chicago O'Hare Airport facilities on Jan. 19.
Arif Malik, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department, has been awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development award. The five-year, $500,000 award is for his project titled “Highly-Efficient Dynamic Prediction Models for Quality Improvement in Cold Rolling.”
