Morgan Elliott, a junior biomedical engineering major, is one of fewer than 300 students to be named a Goldwater Scholar for her research efforts. The Scholarship Program honoring Sen. Barry Goldwater was designed to foster and encourage outstanding sophomore and junior college students to pursue research careers in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.
Theodosios Alexander, Sc.D., Dean of SLU’s Parks College recently presented his views on contemporary engineering education and the future of engineering careers to the Rotary Club of St. Louis and the Rotary Club of Clayton-Ladue.
