Meet Our Students

Anthony L. Vicini

Advisor/Mentor: Michelle Sabick
Sponsor/Grant: Parks College
Program Start: Fall 2015

Tony attended Case Western Reserve University, where he received a B.S. in biomedical engineering, and went on to study skeletal trauma in head impacts to get his Masters of Science at Wright State in 2015. He is currently working on his Ph.D in the field of biomechanics.

Tony started modeling bone for his master’s work, using computational systems to predict cranial fracture as an indicator for high risk brain injury patients. At SLU, he is using his computational experience to derive a means to accurately measure the position of the scapula and minimize the risk of rotator cuff injuries.
