Meet Our Students

Anusha Kodimela

Advisor/Mentor: Roobik Gharabagi
Program Start: Fall 2016

Anusha obtained her undergraduate degree in Electronics & Communication from Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women Andhra Pradesh, India. She is passionate about designing analog and digital circuits involving microprocessors, integrated circuits, etc. She has knowledge in programming languages used in my major such as VHDL, Verilog, etc. Anusha worked under the supervision of Dr. Kevin from Penn State University in programming a module in a project named Skin Tone Detector. The module is used to detect the skin tone of a person in any kind of image by converting the RGB value of each pixel of the image into Y Cr Cb value which is further processed to obtain the Skin Score base on FPGA. She has built circuits during her undergraduate career for a few projects such as clap switch and text to speech converter. She has worked for Tata Consultancy Services as an assistant systems engineer.
