Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering
From super-efficient subsonic jet liners to transatmospheric aircraft that can fly into orbit, aerospace engineers create new technologies in commercial aviation, defense systems, and space exploration. An aerospace engineering major at SLU provides a challenging technical education with a strong emphasis on understanding complex systems.
Aviation Science
The Department of Aviation Science is focused on preparing the next generation of leaders. If you are interested in becoming a leader in the aviation industry, in making a lasting contribution to the field, or in serving your professional and social community, this is the best place for you.
Biomedical Engineering
The Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department at Saint Louis University (SLU) originated in 1997 and quickly developed a strong and successful undergraduate engineering program. This program prepares students for careers ranging from fundamental engineering research to the application of engineering principles to the solution of biomedical design problems.
Civil Engineering
At Saint Louis University, we are developing a new and innovative Civil Engineering program that is future focused – incorporating the latest trends in the Civil Engineering to address the current and future needs of the profession and our society.
Electrical & Computer Engineering
Electrical and Computer Engineering are two of the most exciting fields of engineering. Over the past decades electrical and computer engineers have been responsible for ground-breaking technological advances in the 20th century. These fields continue to have a positive impact on society in the 21st century.
Physics
Want to unlock the secrets of the universe? Want to know how the physical world actually works? The bachelor of science degree stresses not only the fundamentals of physics, but also the understanding of its applications to other areas such as chemistry, biology and engineering.
