The goal of our project is to provide an alternative to hearing aids and cochlear implants for those who have full or partial hearing loss. We have created a device that records speech and converts that speech to text. It then displays that text on a heads up display for the user. Our device helps those who cannot hear have conversations. We have build a proof-of-concept device that would eventually be able to become a marketable product that the user would wear like a pair of glasses.
