Jennifer Gritton received a B.S. in Business: Human Resources (2004) from The Ohio State University and a Masters of Aeronautical Science (2010) with a dual concentration in Human Factors and Safety Systems at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She has over eight years of experience performing research and analysis relating to aircraft accident investigation for expert witness testimony. She has experience in the analysis of human performance and human error elements associated with aircraft accidents and incidents, as well as accident causation analysis. She is a member of The International Society of Air Safety Investigators, Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, and American Psychological Association. Additionally, she is a member of Women in Aviation and past board member of Women with Wings, as well as a volunteer board member for the Lancair Owners and Builders Organization. Jennifer enrolled in the Ph.D. in Aviation program at Saint Louis University in spring 2011. She continues to pursue research in human error as it relates to cognitive processes and perception, as well as aviation safety and training.
