Engineering and Aviation Summer Academy
About the Academy
This year’s Academy will be on June 14-19, 2015. Rising high school juniors and seniors participate in the six-day, five-night sessions and learn about the latest technology and career paths in engineering and aviation.
During the Academy, faculty and student mentors also guide students through hands-on activities in:
- aerospace and mechanical engineering
- aviation management
- flight science
- biomedical engineering
- civil engineering
- computer and electrical engineering
Students also attend an off-campus group outing, take a flight in a SLU airplane and explore Saint Louis University.

Space is limited and participation is limited to high school students who will graduate in 2016 or 2017 and currently have a “B” average or better. All application requirements must be met in order to be considered.
The Boeing Engineering & Aviation Summer Academy Scholarship
On behalf the of The Boeing Company, eighteen full scholarships ($550) will be awarded in 2015 and will be based on financial need and merit. Read more about the available scholarships and application criteria.
