The 2010 SAHI Conference, March 10 - 12

Saint Louis University is proud to host the Fifth Safety Across High-Consequence Industries Conference, designed to provide a unique forum for researchers and practitioners from aviation, health care and other high-consequence fields to share their experiences, present experiential case-studies and above all, forge new partnerships that foster collaborative problem-solving.

The 2010 SAHI Conference will focus more than ever on the importance of collaboration to address issues related to safety.  This year’s keynote speaker, Christine Goeschel, Director of Patient Safety and Quality Initiatives and Manager of Operations for the Johns Hopkins University Quality and Safety Research Group, will speak specifically about the need for improved synergy, as a diverse group of organizations and individuals come together to solve common issues.

The themes highlighted this year will include the barriers and benefits of systemic safety management, occurrence reporting and analysis and safety culture and collaboration
