The Society of Physics Students is hosting The Egg Drop, their annual recruiting event in which students apply their knowledge of physics to accurately drop an egg a staggering one story and have it remain uncracked. Students can feel free to build their own contraption from scratch and bring it, or jury-rig something from minimal materials which will be supplied.
The drop will be judged in several categories:
- The egg must survive.
- The egg should land in a painted bullseye.
- The contraption should be lightweight and use as few parts as possible.
FREE pizza will be provided!
