About Seth Burgett
Seth has held equity stakes in 2 prior startups with a background in minimally inva- sive surgical devices for neurology, cardiology and ophthalmology. As a result of the technology commercialized under Seth’s leadership, over $100 Million in revenue has been generated with two successful exits achieved over a 10-year span in technology startups. Within the corporate environment at Bausch and Lomb, Mr. Burgett has led global teams, outsourcing R&D in North America, Europe and Asia and was awarded Bausch and Lomb’s Focus on Excellence Award in 2006. Leading strategic ventures with Siemens and Philips Medical Solutions in Europe, Mr. Burgett was product architect to a cardiac surgical robot, the N obe® surgery system, to navigate catheters through the heart. The Niobe® surgical system, which led to Stereotaxis’ IPO (NASDAQ: STXS), in 2004, is used by top cardiologists across the globe and major medical centers such as the Cleveland and Mayo Clinics.
