Advanced Management of Compressed Air Systems Training Workshop Day 1

On May 24-25, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saint Louis University will host Advanced Management of  Compressed Air Systems, an industrial training workshop, presented by the U.S. Department of Energy and co-sponsored by Atlas Copco, Ameren Missouri, Ameren Illinois, the Association for Facilities Engineering, Saint Louis University and Act On Energy.

About the Course

The course is intended to make companies more profitable by educating employees about compressed air. Through a series of workshops, the Compressed Air Challenge® helps organizations evaluate their own systems and apply proven techniques. Workshop participants will be able to achieve higher productivity, reduced downtime, greater energy savings, increased product quality, and greater efficiency.

About the Instructors

Mr. Frank Moskowitz has an extensive background with over 30 years experience in plant engineering. BS in Mechanical engineering and education, including the refrigeration, electrical, plumbing trades. For the past 14 years, Frank has been an associate of the Draw Group of Companies primarily in the auditing, consulting, training and system design fields. His specialty consists of Compressed Air Systems (oil flooded and oil free), Vacuum Systems, Contaminate Removal, Moisture Removal, System Design and Energy Management. Frank is a Compressed Air Challenge instructor for both fundamentals and advanced level of training, and an AIRMaster+ instructor.

Tom Taranto is Manager of Compressed Air System Solutions for ConservAIR Technologies. He has over 30 years of experience in design and application of fluid power systems. Tom has extensive experience in compressed air system design and application of many types of compressors and air system components.
