Earthquakes: Mean Business (EMB) is a public outreach offering of the regional geoscience, engineering and emergency management community. The program is an effort to raise awareness of earthquake hazards and earthquake risk in the central United States and explain how we can better prepare for future events. It will consist of morning presentations, a luncheon seminar and afternoon breakout sessions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit with exhibitors who will provide information and resources to assist businesses in disaster preparation and business continuity planning.
