Day 1 Itinerary
Each engineering and aviation module consists of a half-day of dedicated instruction and interactive activities led by accomplished faculty members. The students will be provided catered breakfast, lunch and dinner. Below are the featured modules that students will participate in for Day One.
Welcome to SLU
After check-in and lunch, students will be greeted by the Dean, the Academy Faculty Advisor, their counselors, faculty and staff. Learn about the schedule for the week and team project/competition assignments.
Tour the McDonnell Douglas Hall, including the historic timeline, which details the rich history of the nation’s oldest aviation school. Take a SLU campus tour and check into dorm rooms.
Simon Rec Center
After dinner the students will go the Saint Louis University Simon Rec Center. There they can swim, use the rock climbing wall or play basketball.
Solve challenging engineering problems and complete projects with the latest technology. On the first day, students compete in a series of problem solving exercises.
