Biography on Ron Roy
Ron is the founder of the landmark online ticketing and fan community, UltraStar, whose clients included David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Sting/The Police, The Who, AC/DC, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Red Hot Chili Peppers plus 20 professional sports teams. He was also involved as producer for the legendary Yahoo! Internet Life Award shows and served as digital producer for both The Cure and Aerosmith. Ron worked on a variety of high-profile digital/mobile projects that included the iPhone launch, Rawlings 50th Gold Glove Anniversary and Liberty Media’s Fantasy Sports. In 2009 he launched his next entrepreneurial venture - Wines That Rock with partners Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Woodstock and The Police - which pairs wine and music.
