Parks College Wins Competition at the Annual KEEN Conference

DCNstoryOn Oct. 7-8, 2010 faculty and staff from Parks College attended the KEEN Annual Conference. During the Conference Dr. K. Ravindra, Parks Interim Dean, Susan Bloomfield, Parks College Development Director, and Dr. Sridhar Condoor, Parks College Faculty Member, participated in a competition hosted by the Kern Engineering Entrepreneurship Network to create a new paradigm for teaching entrepreneurship through a network of schools. Saint Louis University lead a team of five schools - Boston University, Gonzaga University, Kettering University, Lawrence Tech, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute and went onto win the competition.

This network of six schools will have an opportunity to present a major proposal to the Kern Foundation during the next year. The proposal will involve changing the teaching paradigm at these six schools. More developments will be posted in the coming semester.
