Join us for EWeek 2012 at Saint Louis University’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology! This year’s festivities at SLU will focus on the theme of Grand Challenges in Engineering. There are many Grand Challenges facing our world today such as making solar energy economical, restore and improve urban infrastructure, provide access to clean water, and engineer better medicines.

When you register, you may select the activities that you would like to participate in and you will receive a personalized EWeek itinerary with all of your selections. Events will be going on throughout the week and there are many opportunities to get involved. With over a dozen activities planned, there is something for everyone!



Monday, Feb. 20 – Admitted Student Day

  • 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Admitted Student Day Luncheon and Student Organization Fair in the Wool Ballrooms
  • 1 – 3:30 p.m. Parks College Open House
  • 4:00 p.m. Parks College Reception in the McDonnell Douglass Hall Rotunda

Tuesday, Feb. 21 – Entrepreneurship Day

  • Noon – 1 p.m. Innovation Challenge in the McDonnell Douglass Hall Rotunda

Wednesday, Feb. 22 – Career Day

  • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Career Fair
  • 4 – 4:45 p.m. Student Forum with Dean Candidate
  • 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Student Career Day Reception in the McDonnell Douglass Hall Rotunda

Thursday, Feb. 23 – Introduce A Girl to Engineering Day

  • 10 – 2 p.m. Introduce A Girl to Engineering Activities - High school students visit campus and participate in engineering activities led by the Society of Women Engineers
  • 11:30 – 1 p.m. – Women in Engineering Luncheon in Pere Marquette Gallery, DuBourg Hall - Current and prospective students, faculty, staff and professionals welcome. 

Friday, Feb. 24

  • 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. - Eweek Breakfast - Continental breakfast in MDD Rotunda.
  • 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. – Eweek Banquet in McDonnell Douglass Hall Rotunda

Saturday, Feb. 25 – Billiken BEAMS

  • 10 – 2 p.m. – Billiken BEAMS Competition in the McDonnell Douglass Hall Rotunda
