Parks College students, Maria Barna, Jessica Rozycki, Lauren Lobosky, Laura Marxkors and Jessica Stukel attended the Region i Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Conference February 26-27, 2010, held at the University of Missouri Columbia.
National Engineers Week highlighted the work and contributions of engineers. The college of engineering and aviation celebrated the week with many exciting events. This year’s theme was “service and sustainability.”
To help meet the challenge, Saint Louis University launched a new undergraduate degree in civil engineering in Fall 2009, one of the most dynamic and in-demand careers in the United States. Dr. John Woolschlager, Ph.D., was selected to lead the new department.
