The Fifth Safety Across High-Consequence Industries Conference
The 2010 Conference themes included the barriers and benefits to systemic safety management systems, occurrence reporting and analysis and safety culture and collaboration.
Saint Louis University was proud to host the Fifth Safety Across High-Consequence Industries Conference, designed to provide a unique forum for researchers and practitioners from aviation, health care and other high-consequence fields to share their experiences, present experiential case-studies and above all, forge new partnerships that foster collaborative problem-solving.
Each day speaker and panelist presented information about the cutting-edge research they are involved with and their analysis of current safety issues that practitioners are facing every day in the field for a variety of industries, with an emphasis on the areas of health care and aviation.
